VECTOPOWER presents an on-board charging technology for electric cars

VECTOPOWER will be exhibiting again at the eCarTec, the leading trade show for electric mobility. This year the drive specialists will be showcasing two interesting new developments:

The bidirectional VECTOPOWER on-board charging technology for electric cars boasts an excellent degree of efficiency and a permanent charging capacity of 3.5kW. The electrical isolation ensures safe operation in the vehicle. The appliance is available in one, two or three-phase versions.
The VECTOPOWER electric motors range now offers highly efficient asynchronous traction motors. Thanks to VECTOPOWER technology these are a real alternative to PM synchronous machine that are rapidly becoming more and more expensive. VECTOPOWER asynchronous motors achieve the values of good PM synchronous motors in the critical characteristics such as efficiency and power density meaning they can now be used for electric mobility.

The eCarTec takes place 18th 20th October 2011 at the Neue Messe in Munich Germany. VECTOPOWER is located at stand 129A in hall A5.
